Role: Monkey acts as kind of the trickster/mentor. He loves to talk, so he makes a great sounding board for exposition. He is one of the more balanced characters in the story.
Notes: Monkey’s conversations with Kinetic in the first issue are a bastardized transcript of a conversation I had with my dear friend, and frequent collaborator, Micah Faulkner. I knew that I wanted to take on this project, but I was having trouble getting started without a name. So, I called Micah and we talked about the significance of a character’s name.
So, of course, that is where the story started from. I was having trouble getting started and I went to my friend for help….my character was having trouble getting started and so he went to his friend for help.
