Name: Coil
Description: Coil is a very big and imposing man. Thick build, thick neck, and thick features. When out of costume he dresses simply. Leather jacket, jeans. A good model is probably Vic Mackie on The Shield.
When is costume as Coil, He will wear a simple dark body-suit. This should have a thick, realistic, look as composed to seamless spandex. Along with this, he wears a variable amount of what seems to me very fine chain-male armor. He can animate any thin wires and uses them as armor. Coverage should focus on the most vulnerable areas and the design should be fluid and organic.
Personality: Though almost none of the other characters are aware of it, Coil is a bad guy turned good. He is, however, not very good. He is mean and thuggish even when doing good. he uses his strength to intimidate and frighten people.
He is not good at the acting part of acting like a good guy, so he tends to stay quiet and hope that people are assuming the best.
He likes to be in control and loves chaos. He does not need to succeed so long as someone else is failing. He is deeply cynical, believing in only the worst of humanity. This is why he thought he could live as a fake hero, he assumed that all heroes were faking it. Selflessness and sincerity are deeply troubling to his world-view
Role: Within the story, Coil acts as a foil to Kinetic. Unlike Kinetic, he has lots of experience and a very jaded outlook. He is also deeply dug-in source of badness in Rapid City.
In the symbolic language of the project, Coil represents the jaded creator who no longer sees the value in the art and, if he does it at all, does not care why.
