Editing
All that stuff I said in the previous post about the choice between polished quality and artistic purity…..
Well, I went over my scripts again and I came down really solidly on the side of polished quality. Man, I let some DUMB mistakes slide by. I am still proud that I made my deadlines and all that…..
But like I often tell my students, if you are proud of your work, take the time to do it right.
Hopefully, those stupid mistakes are fixed to the point where I can succeed or fail on my own merits as a writer and not be hamstrung by my failings as an editor.
Oh, and if you read Issue #2 since I moved the scripts over to Scribd, please do us both a favor and go read it again. I don’t know how that partial script wound up there, but it has been replaced by the properly edited full version.
Thanks.
